This document contains the presentation given by Dr. David E. Losada (Univ. Santiago de Compostela, Spain) in Viena. Essentially, it sketches our main research activities related to MUMIA (Opinion Mining, Text Classification, Patent Retrieval, Passage Retrieval, Novelty detection, etc).
